
The hydrometeorological situation on the rivers of the Lviv region as of February 1, 2026.
Over the past day, up to 1 mm of precipitation fell in the Lviv region. On the rivers of the Dniester basin, a drop in water levels by 1 – 13 cm was observed. On the plain rivers of the Syan and Western Bug basins, there were slight fluctuations in water levels within 2 – 9 cm, with a prevailing decrease. Most rivers in the Lviv region remain ice-covered, with some ice phenomena such as ice jams and slush.
As of 08:00 on February 1, the snow cover height at the meteorological stations in the Lviv region is 10 – 20 cm, with 6 – 11 cm in the mountainous part of the region.
