The hydrological situation on the rivers of the Lviv region remains stable.
In the past day, up to 4 mm of precipitation fell in the Lviv region. Water levels on the region’s rivers rose by 1 – 7 cm. Most rivers remain ice-bound, with some ice phenomena in the form of ice edges and slush persisting locally.
As of 08:00 on January 17, the snow cover height at meteorological stations is 14 – 34 cm, and in the mountainous part of the region, 21 – 29 cm. In the coming day, fluctuations in water levels with a tendency for rise are expected on the region’s rivers.
As of 08:00 on January 24, the snow cover height in the mountains of the Lviv region at M Turka and M Slavske was 19 – 27 cm. An avalanche danger warning No. Гл–8 dated 01/23/2026 is in effect.
