A minor motorcyclist was injured in a collision with a car in the Lviv region.
The traffic accident occurred on August 24, around 19:00, in the village of Volosyanka, Stryi district. According to preliminary findings by law enforcement, there was a collision between a Toyota car driven by a 53-year-old Kyiv resident and an X-Line 250 motorcycle operated by a 16-year-old resident of Stryi district. As a result of the accident, the minor motorcyclist sustained bodily injuries and was hospitalized.
Investigators from the police department No.3 of Stryi district police department have initiated a criminal proceeding under part 1 of article 286 \”Violation of traffic safety rules\” of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The maximum penalty provided by the article is a restriction of liberty for up to three years, with deprivation of the right to drive vehicles for up to three years. Law enforcement is investigating the circumstances of the incident.
