An artillery shell from World War II has been discovered in the village of Volosyanka in the Stryi region.
On June 16 at 07:38, a local resident noticed a suspicious object on the roadside while going to work. The finding turned out to be a 57 mm artillery shell. On the same day, Lviv region’s State Emergency Service pyrotechnicians removed the shell and destroyed it as per protocol.
Rescuers remind that old munitions, regardless of size and age, remain deadly dangerous. \”If you discover a suspicious object, call 101 immediately. Do not touch, move, or attempt to neutralize it on your own!\”
