In the Yavoriv district, firefighters successfully extinguished a fire in a residential building, saving three structures and a car.
On August 31 at 21:44, the Rescue Service received a report of a fire in the village of Kokhanivka in the Yavoriv district. The blaze occurred in a wooden residential building covered with slate, measuring 8×4 meters. Firefighters from the town of Yavoriv and the village of Nemyriv were dispatched to the scene.
Upon arrival, the building was completely engulfed in flames. There was a threat of the fire spreading to nearby structures. Firefighters localized the fire at 22:28 and extinguished it by 23:18.
Firefighters managed to prevent the rapid spread of the fire and saved the nearby residential building, two outbuildings, and a car from catching fire. Eight rescuers and two units of specialized equipment were involved in extinguishing the blaze. The causes and circumstances of the fire are being established.
