The traffic accident occurred on August 16, around 11:45 p.m., on the highway between the villages of Drogomyshl and Kolonitsy, Yavoriv district
As previously established by law enforcement officers, the driver of the “Lifan” motorcycle, a 15-year-old resident of the district, collided with the “Opel Zafira” car, which was driven by a 42-year-old resident of Lviv.
As a result of the accident, the minor motorcyclist was injured and taken to a medical facility.
According to the fact, the investigators of the territorial unit of the police of the Lviv region opened criminal proceedings under Part 1 of Article 286 (Violation of traffic safety rules) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The maximum penalty provided by the sanction of the article is up to three years of imprisonment with deprivation of the right to drive vehicles for a period of up to three years.
