During the day of January 1, Lviv region rescuers extinguished four fires, resulting in one person being injured.
One building was saved. The main department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Lviv region urges citizens to observe fire safety rules. “Do not smoke in bed; monitor the condition and serviceability of the electrical network; when leaving premises, do not leave electrical appliances on; do not leave young children unattended, and do not let them play with matches; ensure that a fireplace or stove is regularly cleaned of ash and deposits. This helps reduce the risk of igniting internal deposits; never leave a lit fireplace or stove unattended”, the State Emergency Service emphasizes.
