The President of Ukraine signed Decree No. 110/2026, which approves the new edition of the Procedure for processing applications related to citizenship matters.
The document provides an updated list of documents for foreigners and stateless persons, including military personnel and their families. Clear procedures have been established for the admission to citizenship of individuals with outstanding merits or those whose acquisition aligns with the state interest. It regulates the acquisition of citizenship by birth for adults and the procedure for verifying citizenship affiliation for individuals without documents.
The decree is aimed at unifying and ensuring transparency in the citizenship procedures, particularly for foreigners and stateless persons who defend the territorial integrity of Ukraine, as well as for their family members.
