“There is information circulating online that a penalty points system for drivers will be implemented starting in 2026. This is not true,” the police noted.
Currently, there are several draft laws aimed at addressing this issue. They may introduce penalty points, based on the advanced practices of foreign countries. However, this matter is still under consideration, and penalty points have not been introduced.
