Increase in Passenger Traffic at Lviv Border Before Holidays

During the Christmas and New Year holidays, there is an increase in passenger traffic through the checkpoints of Lviv region.

All checkpoints are operating under increased load conditions, responding to the seasonal rise in movement both outbound and inbound to Ukraine. **After Christmas, when passenger flow had somewhat decreased, there is now another increase in border traffic.** To reduce queues and accelerate the processing procedures at checkpoints, the number of border patrols has been increased, additional automated workstations have been opened, and continuous coordination with Polish border guards is being conducted. These actions allow for maximum efficiency in handling vehicle traffic during peak days of this period.
