On the border of Lviv region, there is an increase in passenger traffic during the Christmas-New Year holiday period.
All checkpoints are operating under increased load, ensuring the processing of citizens both leaving and entering Ukraine. After a short decline right after Christmas, passenger traffic is currently rising again, which is typical for the holiday period.
To minimize queues and speed up processing, border guards have increased the number of crews, deployed additional automated workstations, and maintained continuous coordination with the Polish side. This allows for effective handling of the transport flow during peak hours.
