The police of Lviv region urge responsible celebration of the New Year, emphasizing the importance of safety.
Since the first day of the full-scale aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, law enforcement officers have been on duty in an intensified mode to prevent offenses and ensure public order.
In the Lviv region, a curfew is in effect from 00:00 to 05:00. Residents and city guests are urged to adhere to public order and be mutually respectful. Avoid alcohol abuse and do not drive vehicles under the influence.
Parents are asked to watch their children closely, especially in areas of mass and festive events. Trading employees are urged to adhere to the rules of alcohol and tobacco sales — selling to minors is prohibited. They remind about the administrative responsibility for the sale and use of pyrotechnic devices.
In case of a power outage, air alert notifications will be carried out via loudspeakers — do not ignore signals. Lviv police, patrol police, and National Guard of Ukraine servicemen are involved in maintaining public order. Additional investigative, explosive, and canine units have been created.
If you notice violations, suspicious objects, or if you witness a crime — call 102 or contact the police directly. Take care of yourself and your loved ones. May the holidays be safe.
