Lviv police urge drivers and pedestrians to be cautious due to ice on the roads.
According to the Lviv Regional Hydrometeorological Center’s forecast, ice and northwesterly wind gusts of 15 – 20 m/s are expected on the roads on December 26-27. This complicates weather conditions on the roads of the Lviv region, making the road surface slippery and increasing the risk of accidents.
“Law enforcement officers urge drivers to be as careful as possible and to strictly adhere to traffic rules. Do not exceed the permitted speed, avoid sudden maneuvers, and be especially attentive near intersections and pedestrian crossings,” – emphasize the police.
Pedestrians are advised to use reflective elements on their clothing so that drivers can spot them in time. In case of a difficult situation on the road due to weather conditions, you should immediately call the emergency line 102 for assistance.
