Due to thawing and precipitation, rising water levels are expected in the Dniester River.
During January 26-28, a gradual increase in water levels by 0.3 – 0.8 meters above the levels at 08:00 on January 25 is forecasted in the Dniester basin rivers. This will occur without negative consequences. There will be a weakening and destruction of ice phenomena on the rivers. In some places, ice drifts and the formation of ice jams with sharp fluctuations in water levels are possible.
