The Lviv regional center for hydrometeorology of Ukraine warns about worsening weather conditions.
According to the center, fog with visibility of 200 – 500 meters is expected in Lviv region and in Lviv itself in the evening of January 14. On January 15, glaze and wet snow accretion are forecasted. At night, fog of 200 – 500 meters is expected throughout the region, and fog is expected in some places during the day. Icy conditions are possible on the roads.
“Drivers and pedestrians, be particularly attentive, follow road rules, maintain safe speed and distance,” the center urges. Pedestrians are advised to choose shoes with non-slip soles and be cautious while moving.
