
In the Sheptytskyi district, thanks to neighbors and rescuers, a tragedy was averted.
On January 16 at 18:56, rescuers received a report about a fire in the village of Dobryachyn on Sokal Street. The fire occurred in a one-story brick residential building. By the time the rescuers arrived, the building was partially engulfed in flames. “Before the rescuers arrived, the neighbors evacuated the owner from the house and called emergency services, thus preventing tragic consequences,” the press service reported. The woman was hospitalized at the Sheptytskyi Central City Hospital.
The rescuers localized the fire at 19:51 and extinguished it by 20:40. The roof burned over an area of 50 square meters, the wooden ceiling on an area of 20 square meters, and household items over an area of 20 square meters. Saved: 2 buildings. Three units of special equipment and 11 rescuers were involved in extinguishing the fire.
