A fire occurred in the Sheptytskyi District, resulting in one fatality and two injuries.
On December 17 at 04:14, rescuers received a report about a fire in the village of Silets in the Sheptytskyi District. The fire engulfed a two-story brick summer house. Units from Sosenivka and Velyki Mosty were dispatched to the scene. Upon arrival, the building was engulfed in flames, including the roof, windows, doors, wooden floor, and household items over an area of 56 square meters.
As a result of the fire, two men were injured. One of them, born in 1983, suffered smoke inhalation and skin burns of first and second degrees and was hospitalized in the intensive care unit. Another man, whose identity has not yet been established, was taken to a medical facility in Lviv.
During firefighting operations, rescuers discovered the body of a deceased man, whose identity is being established. **Saved:** the summer house was saved. The fire was contained at 05:02 and extinguished at 06:20. The causes and circumstances of the fire are being investigated.
