At the ‘Shehyni’ checkpoint, border guards discovered a collection of ancient coins.
During the inspection of an Opel minibus, with a 66-year-old resident of Lviv region as a passenger, 13 ancient coins were found. They date back from the 16th to the 20th century. According to the man, *”the numismatic collection, presumably, he intended to sell in Poland”.*
The findings were seized in accordance with the established procedure. They were sent for an examination to determine their true origin and cultural-historical significance.
