Border guards discovered several attempts to illegally transport goods across the Ukrainian-Polish border.
At the Krakivets checkpoint, a variety of equipment and cosmetic sets were found during an inspection of a Mercedes minibus. Among the seized items were a gaming console, smart glasses, headphones from several well-known brands, cosmetic sets, and other goods, totaling 34 items.
At the Uhryniv checkpoint, border guards discovered 29 antique coins dating from the 18th to the 20th centuries. They were being attempted to be exported by a 47-year-old woman from Kharkiv, who was heading to Poland in a Renault car. An examination will determine whether these coins have historical or cultural value.
At the Shehyni checkpoint, an acoustic system from a British manufacturer was found. It was being imported into Ukraine by a 47-year-old resident of Ternopil region, who was traveling in a Mercedes minibus.
All detected goods were confiscated in accordance with regulations and protocols were drawn up. The estimated value of the seized items exceeds 1 million hryvnias.
