Rescuers from 12 regions of Ukraine are working in the Odesa region to support the area after Russian attacks.
According to Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko, this is a quick decision to help the region through a difficult period. The situation with electricity, water, and heating supply is challenging, and there were strikes on the railway infrastructure.
More than 660 Invincibility Centers have been deployed across the region, mobile kitchens of the State Emergency Service are operating, and rescuers have organized the supply of drinking and technical water. There are more police patrols on the streets. Public order and safety are under constant supervision.
Mobile communication is operating on backup power. Make sure to download the 112 Ukraine app to call emergency services even without a mobile signal if there is Wi-Fi.
Ihor Klymenko emphasized the necessity of following air raid signals and staying in shelters during danger. “We are all now together with Odesa region. The Ministry of Internal Affairs services are working without pause so that people feel support and protection,” said the Minister.
