Lviv Provides Assistance to Residents After Shelling

An additional 15 residents of Lviv will receive financial support due to housing damage from Russian shelling. After missile strikes in July and August 2025, the city continues to support the affected residents.

The city council’s executive committee has allocated additional funds amounting to 250,000 UAH to compensate for the costs of repairing windows and doors. This includes 242,000 UAH for replacing or installing new windows and 8,000 UAH for door restoration.

Currently, after the July shelling, there have been 61 applications totaling over a million UAH, and after the August shelling, 72 applications exceeding one and a half million UAH.

‘Our duty is to be there for everyone who has suffered…’ stated Tetiana Kolesnyk, head of the social protection department. She emphasized the importance of mutual support during this difficult period.
