On August 9 at 14:14, rescuers received a report of a traffic accident in Dubyna village, Zolochiv district, on the Kyiv – Chop highway.
A collision occurred between a Kia Sorento and a BMW 730. As a result of the impact, both drivers were trapped in the mangled cars.
Rescue workers used hydraulic shears to free the victims and also performed work to disconnect the battery in the BMW and shut off the gas supply in the Kia Sorento.
The circumstances of the accident are being investigated by law enforcement agencies.
