Tragedy in Lviv Region: Fire Claims Two Lives
On February 22 at 01:31, a report was received about a fire in the village of Novi Strylishcha in Lviv district.
Details of the Incident
Upon arrival, the residential building, measuring 5*10m, was engulfed in flames. The fire caused heavy smoke. There was a threat of the fire spreading to a nearby farm building.
Firefighters, wearing special breathing and sight protection apparatus, immediately began extinguishing the fire.
During the firefighting, the bodies of two deceased individuals were discovered inside the house: a 44-year-old owner and a 38-year-old man.
The fire was contained by 03:24 and extinguished by 04:15. The house was completely destroyed by the fire.
Investigation Ongoing
To extinguish the fire, 8 firefighters and 2 units of special equipment were involved. Law enforcement officers are currently investigating the circumstances of the tragedy.
