Water Levels in Lviv Region Rivers Continue to Drop

Water level decrease is observed in the rivers of the Lviv region.

Over the past day, the rivers of the region predominantly experienced a drop in water levels by up to 3 cm per day. Water levels on some tributaries of the Dniester continued to approach their minimum long-term values. This includes places such as HP Dniester River – Strelky village, Dniester River – Rozdol township, and Holovchanka River – Tukhlya village. In the area of HP Stryi River – Matkiv village, the water level remains unchanged.

The water temperature on the mountain tributaries of the Dniester ranged from 10.0 to 15.0°, while on other rivers of the region it ranged from 17.0 to 22.0°. In some places at individual hydroposts, slight vegetation persists near the banks.

The consultation on the change in the hydrological situation on the rivers of the Lviv region indicates that summer low water levels will persist in the region’s rivers the following day. Predominantly, water levels will continue to drop, and further decrease in water flow is expected.
