Situation at the Lviv Border: How to Avoid Queues

Slight accumulation of vehicles has been recorded at the border in Lviv region.

As of 10:00 AM:

Krakivets Checkpoint: 25 vehicles are waiting to exit Ukraine, and 30 vehicles are waiting to enter Ukraine.

Shehyni Checkpoint: 30 vehicles are waiting to enter Ukraine. Other checkpoints have no accumulation, and traffic is free.

Bus Transportation:

In Krakivets: No accumulation for exit, 8 buses are waiting for entry. In Shehyni: 4 buses are waiting for exit, 10 buses for entry.

We remind that the electronic system eQueue is in operation for bus transportation, allowing carriers to independently schedule border crossings. However, the slotting mechanism has not yet been implemented at the Shehyni and Krakivets checkpoints, leading to increased congestion at these checkpoints due to the arrival of buses without a designated processing time.

We urge drivers to consider weather conditions, plan routes in advance, estimate time, and choose less congested checkpoints. Please note that passenger flow traditionally increases on weekends.

At the moment, all checkpoints in the Lviv region are operating normally, and no access issues have been reported.
