Tourist Locations in Lviv Region: Popularity and New Initiatives
As reported during the briefing at the Lviv Regional State Administration, the leader in terms of visits in March is the ‘Tustan’ reserve, which was visited by 8,975 tourists, and in April — 8,306. Meanwhile, the most popular places in April were:
- ‘Drohobychyna’ Museum – 12,817 visitors
- ‘Skole Beskids’ National Park – 10,700
- ‘Domazhyr’ Bear Sanctuary – 1,412
During the briefing, they also mentioned the tourist tax, which amounted to nearly 4.5 million UAH in April, and the total amount in Lviv region in 2025 is over 17 million UAH.
👏The Lviv, Truskavets, Skhidnytsia, Morshyn, and Sokal communities pay the most tourist tax.
Project ‘Therapy by Travel’
We remind you that the Department of Sports, Youth, and Tourism of the Lviv Regional State Administration organizes the project for Defenders and Members of their Families ‘Therapy by Travel’, which organizes leisure and emotional relief for warriors undergoing rehabilitation or rotation in our region.
As part of the project, various activities are organized, including hiking with a ‘Julietta’ chair, which helps people in wheelchairs reach the peaks. Such events are also possible this year.
