In Drohobych, a child was injured while riding a bicycle, and rescuers promptly provided assistance.
On July 15 at 19:01, rescuers received a report of an incident on Volodymyr the Great Street in the city of Drohobych. A child fell off a bicycle and was seriously injured. The brake handle on the handlebars pierced the leg, getting stuck in the soft tissues.
Special task force rescuers from the 2nd Specialized Emergency Rescue Unit used a special tool to cut off part of the bicycle’s handlebars. The injured person was transported to an ambulance for further hospitalization.
