On the plains’ rivers of the Western Bug basins and in the upper reaches of the Styr rivers, a decrease in water levels by 4 – 14 cm was observed, locally up to 23 cm, with only the GP Styr river at Shchurovychi village noting a water level increase of 6 cm per day. According to the observations of the GP Styr river at Shchurovychi village, a recurrent water outflow into the floodplain covering a layer of 3 cm was recorded.
The water temperature in the mountainous tributaries of the Dniester ranged from 12.0 – 18.0°, while in the rest of the region’s rivers it ranged from 19.0 – 22.0°.
The consultation on the change in the hydrological situation in the rivers of the Lviv region indicates that over the next day, a predominance of a decrease in water levels is expected in the region’s rivers. In the GP Styr river area at Shchurovychi village, the water will remain on the floodplain.
