Hydrological Situation in Lviv Region: Water Levels Decrease

As of June 30, 2025, the hydrological situation in the Lviv region is characterized by decreasing water levels.

According to the hydro-meteorological network, between 0 and 2 mm of precipitation fell in parts of the region over the day. **During the past day, a summer low water level continued on the region’s rivers**, accompanied by a decrease in water levels of up to 2 cm. The water temperature in the mountain tributaries of the Dniester ranged from 13 to 18 degrees, while on other rivers in the region, it ranged from 18 to 23 degrees. In some areas near individual hydro-posts, slight vegetation remained along the banks.

In the next day, slight fluctuations in water levels are expected on the region’s rivers, with a predominance of decline and further gradual decrease in water volume. In some sections of the Dniester basin rivers, water levels will approach their minimal long-term values.
