
As of July 10, 2025, significant rainfall and rising water levels in rivers are observed in the Lviv region.
According to the hydrometeorological network, 12 to 67 mm of precipitation fell in the Lviv region, and 112 mm was recorded at the Lviv AMCS over 12 hours. This led to the formation of a rain flood in the Dniester river basin with water level rises of 10-64 cm.
A gradual rise in water levels of 2-18 cm per day was observed in the flatland rivers of the Syan, Western Bug, and Stir upper basins. The continuation of rain flood formation in the Dniester river basin is expected the next day.
“A warning of a dangerous hydrological phenomenon NGY-I No. G-3 from 07/09/2025 is in effect”, – noted in the consultation on the change in the hydrological situation.
