Law enforcement in the Lviv region has officially denied online rumors claiming that traffic violation fines in Ukraine have been increased. No changes to fine amounts have been implemented.
According to Oleksii Biloshytskyi, First Deputy Head of the Patrol Police Department, the information being spread refers to draft laws that have not yet been reviewed or approved.
As a result, the fines for traffic violations remain unchanged in accordance with the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses.
Police urge the public to rely only on verified sources of information and avoid spreading unconfirmed reports from social media.
