In the Lviv district, firefighters successfully extinguished a fire in a wooden attic.
On December 3 at 13:36, a call was received about a fire in the village of Cherlyanske Peredmistya, Lviv District. The fire occurred in a one-story wooden utility building with an attic. At the time of the fire brigade’s arrival, flames were breaking from the attic and spreading rapidly. The fire caused heavy smoke. There was a threat of the fire spreading to a nearby house, garage, and another utility building.
Thanks to the prompt and coordinated actions of the firefighters, the fire was localized at 20:51 and extinguished at 22:26. Seven rescuers and two units of special equipment were involved in extinguishing the fire. Fortunately, no one was injured. Experts are determining the circumstances and cause of the fire.
