
In Lviv, rescuers quickly extinguished a fire, saving a garage and a car.
On September 20 at 17:20, the Rescue Service received a report of a fire on John Lennon Street in Lviv. Upon arrival of the firefighters, household items inside a metal garage were burning, as well as the engine compartment of a ‘VAZ’ car, which eyewitnesses had already moved out of the garage onto the street.
At 17:30, the firefighters localized the fire, and by 17:33, they had completely extinguished it, saving the garage and the car from total destruction by fire.
Eight rescuers and two special vehicles were involved in extinguishing the fire.
