In Lviv, an electric scooter caught fire while on the move, causing a blaze.
On the evening of July 20 at 19:23, the Rescue Service received a report of a fire on Zahysnykiv Ukrainy Street in Lviv. The electric scooter ‘Fada N9’ had caught fire. By the time the fire and rescue units arrived, the vehicle was already fully engulfed in flames.
Thanks to the prompt actions of the rescuers, the fire was localized within minutes and extinguished by 19:34. As a result of the ignition, the electric scooter was destroyed by fire. Nine rescuers and two units of special equipment were involved in extinguishing the fire.
Experts are investigating the causes of the fire. Fortunately, no one was injured.
