In Lviv, dangerous World War II-era ammunition has been destroyed.
On May 27 at 13:19, the pyrotechnic unit of the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Lviv region removed and destroyed explosive items on Zamarska Street. Among the finds was one 76-mm artillery shell and three 122-mm artillery shells.
These deadly remnants of past wars, despite their considerable age, still pose a significant threat to the life and health of people. ‘The Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Lviv region once again urges citizens to be vigilant and cautious’, rescuers emphasize.
Do not touch suspicious items, attempt to move, disassemble, or neutralize them on your own. Do not throw them into the fire – this is deadly dangerous! In case of detecting an explosive item, immediately inform the rescuers at number 101 or the police at number 102. Remember: your vigilance can save lives!
