Temporary restrictions on the border with Poland due to repair works.
According to the Polish side, road works are underway at the “Medyka” checkpoint (entry into the Republic of Poland, exit from Ukraine) on the cargo lane. New asphalt is being laid there. This may cause a slowdown in the processing of cargo vehicles and buses. Currently, truck passage is organized through the bus lane.
On the Ukrainian side of the “Shehyni” checkpoint, repair and reconstruction works are also ongoing, affecting the speed of traffic.
We advise planning trips in advance and, if possible, choosing alternative checkpoints, such as: Nyzankovychi, Smilnytsia, Uhryniv, Hrushiv, Rava-Ruska. Follow official updates and plan your route considering the situation.
