A fire occurred in a residential house in the village of Malynivka, Lviv district.
On January 18 at 02:57, the Rescue Service received a report of a fire in the boiler room attached to the brick house. The fire engulfed the roof of the house and the boiler room. Thanks to the prompt actions of the rescuers, the house was saved from complete destruction.
The fire was localized at 03:47 and extinguished at 04:02. The extinguishing was carried out by a gas and smoke protection team. Eight rescuers and two firefighting units were involved in the operation.
Rescuers warn: during the use of heating devices and boiler equipment, it is necessary to adhere to fire safety rules, to regularly check their operability, and not to leave them unattended. Remember: it is easier to prevent a fire than to eliminate its consequences.
