In the Sheptytskyi district, firefighters successfully extinguished a fire in a utility building.
On September 7 at 23:30, the Rescue Service received a report of a fire in a single-story brick utility building in the village of Kuty. Firefighters from the town of Radekhiv and the village of Lopatyn were dispatched to the scene. Upon arrival, the rescuers found the roof and wooden ceiling structure of the building on fire, with a risk of the flames spreading to nearby buildings.
By 00:52 on September 8, the fire was localized, and by 01:53, it was extinguished. The firefighters managed to prevent the rapid spread of the fire and saved the utility building from complete destruction. Another utility building and a residential house were also protected from ignition.
A total of 7 rescuers and 2 specialized vehicles were involved in extinguishing the fire. The cause and circumstances of the fire are being investigated.
