
Dry Grass Fires in Sheptytskyi District: A Danger to Nature and People
During the past day, rescuers and local fire protection personnel responded to 8 cases of dry grass fires, with a total area exceeding 38,000 sq.m. Despite constant warnings, people continue to ignore safety regulations, endangering not only nature but also their own lives.
Administrative Measures and Fines
Throughout the day, patrol groups identified offenders and conducted awareness campaigns among the population. As a result, administrative offense rulings were issued against 3 violators caught in the act of burning dry grass.
We remind you that burning dry vegetation is subject to fines:
- for citizens – from 3,060 to 6,120 UAH,
- for officials – from 15,300 to 21,420 UAH.
Be responsible! Do not test fire – it knows no mercy.
Appeal to Citizens
We urge citizens to refrain from burning dry grass! Each fire not only causes significant environmental damage, destroying living nature, but also poses a threat to human life.
