In May, over 60 Ukrainians were evacuated abroad for treatment.
Throughout May, within the framework of international medevac operations, the Lviv Regional Center for Emergency Medical Care and Disaster Medicine organized the transport of 60 patients to European clinics. Specifically, 10 of them were in serious condition. Along with the patients, 15 companions traveled abroad.
During the same period, 44 Ukrainians returned home after treatment and rehabilitation.
The Lviv regional center is the only one in Ukraine that transports injured military personnel and civilians to clinics abroad. This has been made possible through cooperation with the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, the WHO, and co-financing by the European Commission.
