In Zavadiv, plans are in place to dismantle an unauthorized temporary structure.
The Executive Committee of the Lviv City Council has decided to dismantle an illegal kiosk in Zavadiv. This decision is to be executed within 60 days. If the owners do not dismantle the kiosk themselves, employees of the KP ‘Administrative and Technical Management’ along with the Shevchenkiv District Administration will do so.
“The illegal and long-abandoned kiosk is located on Shevchenka Street – near the church, the community center, with a residential building nearby, as well as the terminal stop of the scheduled bus. Residents have repeatedly complained about the dangerous condition of this structure. In addition to being illegal, its structure becomes more hazardous each day, particularly for children,” said the head of the agglomeration and community development office of the Lviv City Council Natalia Alekseeva. She emphasizes that the city’s policy is to dismantle all illegal structures located on municipal land, not included in the Comprehensive Scheme, and lacking legal basis.
More than 100 such kiosks have already been dismantled in Lviv, a significant portion of which were demolished by the owners themselves.
