Grass Fire in Zolochiv District Results in Burns for Two People
Today, at 13:21, rescuers received a report about a grass fire in the village of Brakhivka, Zolochiv District. Strong winds quickly spread the flames. People were doing household work near the house when a woman noticed the fire rapidly approaching her home. She rushed to extinguish the fire by herself. However, the thick smoke took its toll – the woman fainted and fell right into the burning grass.
Fortunately, neighbors noticed the danger in time, and one of the men pulled the woman from the flames and called rescuers. The woman, born in 1939, was hospitalized with burns, while the neighbor who helped save her received burns but refused hospitalization.
Fire Containment and Call for Caution
By 15:16, the fire was contained. But what next? How many more must suffer before everyone finally understands – ARSONS ARE DANGEROUS! DO NOT BURN DRY GRASS! Because next time, rescue might not be possible.
