Fire in Drohobych District: House Burned Down, Owner in the Field

A fire occurred in the Drohobych district while the owner was working in the field.

On October 13 at 16:18, the Rescue Service received a report about a fire in the village of Opaka on Franka Street. The fire engulfed a single-story wooden outbuilding and a residential house. The total area of the fire was about 100 sq.m.

Before the arrival of the fire and rescue units, neighbors attempted to extinguish the fire themselves, but due to the wooden structures, the fire spread quickly. People were concerned about whether the owner was inside the house. They knew he was supposed to be in the field, but to be sure, they went to look for him. Fortunately, the owner is alive and unharmed.

The emergency services localized the fire at 16:59 and extinguished it by 17:15. No one was injured in the fire.
