RMPD System Down: Polish Customs Do Not Fine

The RMPD system, which tracks international freight transportation, is not operational.

As of 22:00 on June third, according to Polish sources, the RMPD system navigation is still down. The Customs Service of the Republic of Poland reports the non-application of fines if drivers possess a printed form from the RMPD system. Between 20:00 and 22:00, the Polish side processed 5 vehicles with available forms without imposing fines.

It is noteworthy that at the ‘Krakovets-Korchowa’ checkpoint, the RMPD system, established to track international freight through Poland, went down. As a result, the movement of freight vehicles, except for 1/24 group, slowed down. After customs clearance on the Polish side, carriers can confidently cross the customs border without penalty sanctions. A fine laid by Polish legislation for the violation of the RMPD control system will not be imposed.
