Border guards discovered an ancient book and branded footwear at the Polish border
At the Ukrainian-Polish border, border guards found interesting \”discoveries\” that were about to discreetly enter Ukraine.
Ancient book from 1883
At the Rava-Ruska checkpoint, during an inspection of the luggage compartment of a Seat car traveling from Ukraine, an ancient book from 1883 was found among personal belongings. Whether it holds historical or cultural value will be determined by an expert examination.
Branded footwear and coins
At the Krakivets checkpoint, according to the information from the unit’s operatives, another \”gift\” was found – in the cabin of a Ukrainian-registered Daf truck, 97 coins and over a hundred pairs of branded footwear were discovered. According to a preliminary assessment, the total value of the goods is approximately 350,000 hryvnias. As it turned out, the driver brought the cargo from Poland and was supposed to deliver it to Lviv.
The cargo was confiscated, and a protocol was drawn up against the man.
