
In the village of Ranevychi, two people sustained burns due to careless ignition of a stove.
On October 12, at 19:53, two patients with thermal burns were admitted to the reception department of Drohobych City Hospital. They were injured as a result of careless handling of fire. The incident occurred in the village of Ranevychi, where during an attempt to ignite a stove with a gas cartridge, the following individuals were injured: a man born in 1985 – with burns on both hands of II–III degree and a child born in 2012 – with a leg burn of II–III degree. The victims have been hospitalized.
Rescuers remind once again: the use of gas cartridges, gasoline, flammable liquids, and other dangerous means for igniting stoves or fireplaces is PROHIBITED! Such actions can lead to serious burns, fires in residential buildings, and pose a threat to the lives of children and adults. Be responsible! Adhering to basic fire safety rules is a key to preserving your life and health.
