Firefighters eliminated a fire in a car “Opel Astra”
On 20 September, at 07:59, the Rescue Service 101 received a report of a car fire. The incident occurred in the town of Sambir on Shukhevycha Street, Sambir district.
Rescuers from the 12th State Fire and Rescue Unit of Sambir were sent to the scene.
When the firefighters arrived at the scene, the Opel Astra was completely engulfed in flames, and there was a threat of the fire spreading to a nearby car.
At 08:10, the firefighters localised the fire and eliminated it at 08:14.
The fire destroyed the car. The rescuers managed to prevent the fire from spreading and save a car parked nearby.
Seven rescuers and two units of special equipment were engaged in the firefighting operations.
