In the Sheptytskyi district, firefighters successfully extinguished a fire in a brick building.
On May 21 at 23:33, the Rescue Service “101” received a report of a fire in the village of Varyazh. The fire broke out in a single-story brick building measuring 70×20 m. Professional firefighters from the towns of Sokal, Chervonohrad, Sosnivka, Velyki Mosty, Radekhiv, Rava-Ruska, as well as local firefighting crew employees from the village of Khorobriv, were dispatched to the scene.
Upon arrival, firefighters found the roof and ceiling of the building on fire. By 00:55 on May 22, the fire was localized, and by 02:39, it was extinguished.
Twenty rescuers and six units of special equipment from the State Emergency Service, as well as one employee and one unit of special equipment from the local firefighting crew, were involved in extinguishing the fire. The causes and circumstances of the fire are being investigated.
