Halyna Soroka is one of the winners of the Hero of Ukraine Taras Matviyev journalism contest.
Halyna Soroka, editor-in-chief of the newspaper “Nash Kray” (Mostyska), who with the article “Krzysztof Mushak – a warrior, an Azov native, a patriot of Ukraine!” won this year’s regional contest of journalistic works named after the Hero of Ukraine Taras Matviyev in the nomination “Material published in print media” and transferred the funds provided for by the victory to the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

As the head of Lviv OVA Maksym Kozytskyi told, with the help of volunteer Oleg His, Ms. Halyna’s prize turned into a quadcopter for the military unit, where a soldier from Chernivtsi, sapper Oleg Saik, is serving. The man has been in military service since 2015 and has been awarded the III degree “For Courage” Order.
