Today at 13:51 a report was received about a fire in a high-rise building on Sheptytsky Street. When the fire units arrived, smoke was billowing from the windows of the apartment on the 8th floor, and the apartment was filled with toxic combustion products. “During reconnaissance, firefighters discovered two people in the room,” – reported the firefighters. They carried the victims out of the smoke-filled premises and handed them over to medical personnel. Both were hospitalized with burns.
The fire was localized at 14:10 and extinguished at 14:24. The fire destroyed household items over an area of 5 square meters. The causes of the fire are being investigated by experts.
